This standard provides minimum criteria for thedesign and performance of membrane-covered cableand rigid member structures, including frame structures,collectively known as tensile membrane structures,including permanent and temporary structuresas defi ned herein. The requirements of this standardshall apply whether the tensile membrane structure isindependent of or attached to another structure. Thisstandard does not apply to air-supported or air-infl atedstructures.
