This report, conducted by 2 George Washington University professors, utilizes survey data collected from AGA member compamies to calculate the decline in weather adjusted use and short run and long run price elasticity of demand for residential customers. The study uses state of the art statistical methods to estimate elasticities for the 9 Census regions and the U.S.
